Why Tansa

TANSA turnstiles are designed to excel in both internal and external environments. However, for applications in very humid or dusty settings, custom-designed turnstiles with optional features are available if the appropriate specifications are provided at the time of the order.

TANSA turnstiles allow free exit out of the site or the building in case of a power failure, a feature mandated by law. If the client wants the turnstiles to remain locked during an emergency, such functionality can be provided as an option, contingent upon the written request of the client. However, once set at the factory, the system then cannot be switched back to the emergency-exit state by the client and it remains locked during all subsequent power failures.

MATERIAL

304 quality stainless steel (EN 10082-2Grade 1G/2G) top platform. Optional marble, granite or woodwork top platform.

OPERATION

Configurable in both directions, providing both entry and exit with manual push.

ARM	Plexiglass and stainless steel. Option of 10 mm thick tampered glass.

MECHANISM

Works with all readers and access control systems.

Monoblock construction mechanism with control cams that are treated with AISI 304 grade stainless steel CNC against rust, wear-out, expansion, and contraction.

ELECTRONICS

Microprocessor controlled electronic circuits.

POWER SUPPLY

10 VAC 60 Hz Switch mode supply. Max 25 Watts operational power. Max 12/24 VDC internal voltage.

INTERNAL VOLTAGE

All internal circuits are designed for 24 VDC for security reasons.

POWER LOSS

In the case of a power loss, the gate assumes an open or closed position, depending on the user setting. In emergencies, the gate opens automatically.

TEMPERATURE RANGE

14 / 122 F° /(-10 / +50 C°) temperature range. Can operate even in -40 F° (-40 C°) with thermostat-equipped optional external heater. Rated for Max 95% humidity.
